PERSONAL MEDICAL APPEAL

Help Roman recover.

After months of pain and several operations, Roman had begun walking again. Then a further problem with his pelvic fixation made movement difficult once more. He needs specialist care and a clear treatment plan. Roman says he cannot work, has no money for basic living costs and is not currently entitled to benefits. Please help him get treatment and make it through rehabilitation.

Organised in the United Kingdom by Artur Kulej, stepfather of Roman’s son, with Roman’s written consent.

SPECIALIST PELVIC-TRAUMA REVIEW NEEDED

The next treatment decision needs specialist assessment.

The medical images below show Roman’s pelvic fixation. The summaries describe the supplied records of extensive injuries from the July 2025 crash and a continuing problem with pelvic fixation. Source records are retained privately.

Pelvic X-ray — metal fixation across the pubic symphysis.
What the records say: the July 2025 history records rupture of the pubic symphysis, a left pubic-bone fracture, traumatic bladder rupture with urethral injury, left shoulder dislocation with an avulsion injury, a right radius fracture and a left third-rib fracture. A specialist consultation dated 25 September 2026 records recurrent pubic-symphysis separation after fixation with migration and breakage of fixators and recommends regional trauma review, removal of the metal fixators and re-osteosynthesis. The final treatment plan still requires specialist assessment of the full case.

ROMAN’S STORY

A crash, multiple operations — and a recovery that is not finished.

Roman was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in July 2025. The supplied hospital record describes a rupture of the pubic symphysis, a left pubic-bone fracture, traumatic bladder rupture with urethral injury, a left shoulder dislocation with an avulsion injury, a right radius fracture and a left third-rib fracture. He underwent several operations and rehabilitation.

The objective now is not to promise a particular operation. It is to secure an independent specialist reassessment of the pelvic fixation, a written treatment plan and a realistic rehabilitation pathway.

WHAT WE KNOW

The next step is a medical decision, not a guess.

The public appeal deliberately separates documented information from decisions that still require a specialist.

JULY 2025

Serious motorcycle collision

Pelvic trauma followed by multiple operations and rehabilitation.

28 SEP 2026

Pelvic CT report

The report describes pubic-symphysis separation to about 15 mm, healed fractures on the left and discontinuity of part of the fixation construct on the right. This is a report summary, not our diagnosis.

NOW

Independent specialist review

The goal is a written clinical decision, treatment plan, coverage confirmation, formal quotes for uncovered care and a rehabilitation pathway.

LIFE NOW

Roman is dealing with much more than medical appointments.

These personal circumstances are reported by Roman and Artur; they are included to explain why outside help matters.

Mobility

His mobility is currently severely limited, making ordinary daily tasks difficult.

Work & income

Roman is not working and says he currently has no entitlement to social benefits.

Day-to-day help

His main practical help comes from his mother, who is older and cannot provide all the care he needs.

Home & animals

Roman has five Scottish Fold cats and an Akita. Their care continues even while his own mobility is restricted.

DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

Evidence should make the reality visible — with privacy protected.

Roman’s actual treatment photographs are shown on this page because the scale of what he has survived matters. Private identifiers, full records and unnecessary third-party data still remain protected. The summaries below are limited to what the supplied documents support.

Identifying details are removed from selected medical images before publication. Full records, signatures and unnecessary details about other people remain private.

28 SEP 2026

Pelvic CT protocol

The report records separation of the pubic symphysis to approximately 15 mm and an interruption/discontinuity of the metal fixation construct at part of the right pubic bone. Specialist interpretation and treatment planning are still required.

Public summary only. Source document retained privately.

UPDATE · 1 OCTOBER 2026

Independent accident expert report received

An independent forensic road-traffic expert report concerning the collision has been received. The report records the Dacia Dokker travelling at approximately 17.8–19.2 km/h before impact. The expert identified actions by the car driver that did not comply with relevant road-traffic requirements and considered them causally connected with the accident.

The expert also identified traffic-rule non-compliance in Roman’s riding, but concluded that it was not causally connected with the collision. According to the report, even if the motorcycle had been travelling at no more than 50 km/h and timely emergency braking had been applied, Roman would not have had the technical possibility to avoid the collision.

Our immediate priority remains Roman’s specialist review, treatment and rehabilitation.

These are technical expert findings, not a court judgment or a determination of legal liability. The full report remains private; no unredacted report is published.

HOW SUPPORT HELPS

Help Roman through treatment, rehabilitation and everyday life.

The final treatment cost and true funding gap are not yet known. The current GoFundMe goal must not be read as a medical quotation.

The next steps to confirm

The final operation planA specialist has recommended further pelvic surgery, but the final operative plan still requires full pelvic-trauma review and formal planning.
The urgency of treatmentRoman reports severely limited mobility. A specialist needs to assess the clinical urgency and confirm the treatment plan.
The costs still to establishThe actual gap will be calculated after coverage and formal quotations are known.
  • independent specialist assessment and written treatment planning
  • treatment, procedures or hospital costs that are actually recommended and not otherwise covered
  • rehabilitation, follow-up and mobility needs
  • necessary treatment-related travel and directly related recovery costs

TRANSPARENCY

A personal fundraiser, separated from the businesses supporting it.

Artur Kulej is organising the UK fundraiser with Roman’s written consent. Wherever practical, verified medical and rehabilitation providers will be paid directly against documented costs.

Japan Motor Hub LTD and JDM4U may promote and amplify the appeal, but they are not beneficiaries and do not receive donations. No donations should be sent to their trading accounts.

This website collects no bank details. The only public donation route is the linked GoFundMe fundraiser. The transfer setup on GoFundMe is handled personally by Artur on the platform.

CAMPAIGN SUPPORT

Publicity support from Japan Motor Hub and JDM4U.

The two automotive projects are helping Roman’s story reach a wider UK and motoring audience. This is support and amplification only — not charity status, not a commercial fundraiser, and not a route for receiving donations.

Campaign support & amplification

Neither business receives fundraiser donations. The donation button always goes directly to GoFundMe.

FAQ

Clear answers to the questions donors should ask.

Who is Roman?

Roman Kvitko lives in Smila, Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine. He is recovering from serious injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in July 2025.

Who is organising the fundraiser?

Artur Kulej, who lives in the United Kingdom and is the stepfather of Roman’s son. Roman has provided written fundraising consent and consent for selected medical information and photographs.

Has further surgery been recommended?

A specialist consultation dated 25 September 2026 recommends removal of the metal fixators and re-osteosynthesis of the pubic symphysis. The campaign still treats this as a specialist recommendation rather than a final treatment plan: the full case needs pelvic-trauma review, operative planning and real costings.

Where do donations go?

Only through GoFundMe. Artur intends to document onward payments for Roman’s verified medical and rehabilitation expenses, with direct provider payments wherever practical.

Is this a registered charity?

No. This is a personal medical fundraiser, not a registered charity. Japan Motor Hub and JDM4U may promote it but do not receive the donations.

Why are full documents not published?

Because medical records, signatures, IDs, dates of birth, case identifiers and third-party information should not be exposed simply to make a fundraiser look more dramatic. Selected evidence is summarised and private material is retained privately.

HELP ROMAN

Further surgery has been recommended; a specialist still needs to confirm the plan. Roman also needs support for food, everyday essentials and care while he cannot work. A donation, a share or the right medical contact can help him move forward.
